Every first Sunday of the month (except October and December, when we have evening holiday runs) we have a field trip to explore different trails and routes, then get coffee afterwards. We meet at 8:30 AM for the run - most people run anywhere from 30-90 minutes and head over to coffee around 9:45 AM!
NOVEMBER: If you're looking for sweeping water views along a flat and paved surface, this is the run for you! From West Seattle, take in Downtown Seattle, Bainbridge Island and the Kitsap Peninsula, and - on a clear day - the Olympics. Enjoy one of Seattle's most beloved beach parks and wide pedestrian paths/sidewalks for running WITHOUT the summer crowds. After coffee, check out the West Seattle Farmers Market or one of the nearby local food spots! (Or, if you're interested in scouting out the cross country course for our last two cross country races of the season, Lincoln Park is just a 10-minute drive / 4-mile one-way run away!)
MEET: Statue of Liberty Plaza
BATHROOMS: Public restrooms one block NE at the Alki Beach Bathhouse or two blocks SW at 63rd Ave. SW restrooms
ROUTE (any distance out and back along the waterfront): https://onthegomap.com/s/3bf1bm8e
COFFEE: Alki Coffee Co.
