This is an annual event hosted by the Western Washington University Vikings, open to ALL club teams, college teams, and individuals! A minimum of five members on each team (Women's Open, Men's Open) are required to score, but we will still be able to participate and have tons of fun if we don't have enough people to fill 5+ person teams. Wearing an official club jersey is required, but USATF membership is not. LSRC will register the teams and cover all entry fees for Full Members!
* Minimum age requirement: 18 (no high school students)
Men and women will race separately during this event (Open and Masters are combined - there is no Masters-specific scoring).
Please REGISTER here by Monday, SEPTEMBER 22 on this page to serve as an RSVP if you would like to be added to our team so we can register you for the race. We will also need to know your DOB in order to add you. If you hadn't already provided it on a previous occasion, please send it to Coach Zach (zach@lakesammamishrunclub.org).
Time: Arrive by 9am. (Carpooling is recommended. We will coordinate once we have everyone registered!)
Women's race (6k): 10am. 45 minute time limit (12 min/mile)
Men's race (8k): 11am. 45 min time limit (9 min/mile)
What to expect: There will be a lot of fast competition with a mix of collegiate runners and serious club runners of all ages from 18 to 80. The course is the same as it was last year: pancake flat with a mix of grass and gravel.
