VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CHEER STATION
Come one, come all and spread cheer for fellow runners! Once again, LSRC will have a cheer station set up at (about) Mile 8 during the race, alongside the East Lake Sammamish Trail. Support others, stop by to add to the festivities!
WHAT: Bring a folding chair and other fun (bells, signs, etc.). We may have a little swag to hand out to race runners…unofficially, at member’s discretion. After, we’ll leave it as we found it: there are adjacent private homes.
WHEN: The race starts at 7:30am Saturday, March 8 from Redmond City Hall. We suggest arriving onsite at the cheer station location by 8am to catch the first wave.
WHERE: 467 E Lake Sammamish Parkway. About five miles south of Whole Foods Redmond.
PARKING: There is a small gravel lot directly off E Lake Sammamish Parkway, west side. There are other nearby small lots and options that do not block driveways. Carpooling encouraged.
** If you’re first onsite, feel free to set up. Nelson and Daniel “may” end up running the event as a relay, and thus may/may not be Jonny-on-the-spot to get things going. **
Registering for this event on the LSRC website means you plan to show up for the cheer station! You do not have to register here if you plan to run the race. :)
