The 2nd race of the Winter Grand Prix, this is a great opportunity to try cross country. Love to see a bunch of blue shirts out there to represent the club. The race will be two loops consisting of a trip up and down Kite Hill for a total of two miles.
If you have already signed up for the series and kept your bib from the first race, you can show up around 8:40, get a little warm up in, race, warm down, and leave. In and out in less than an hour.
Pay attention to local weather as race day gets closer. If we have had a bit of a dry spell (unlikely but maybe), you will be fine with your road shoes. If we get a few days of rain, bring out your trail shoes or some longer spikes. You can still wear road shoes but it will be fun around the curves. And tie your shoes tightly.
